The Cosmo & Donato boutique showcases the designers' eponymous collection rooted in premium essentials.  Offering a more sophisticated interpretation of the brand's ethos, "CD" focuses on ready-to-wear and tailored couture.  In the words of Cosmo, "Cosmo & Donato is the "gala affair", and Cosmo's Glamsquad is the "after-party".



Cosmo Lombino has been shaping “gritty-couture” in Los Angeles for over 25 years. A succinct confidence in his craft began with a career as a Manhattan hair stylist in the 80's and 90's. It was a cultural moment when out-spoken "supermodels" and street artists transformed high fashion into a cultural movement of its own. With this, a new form of retailing was born; art-driven retailers like Pat Fields, Fiorucci, and Jumpin' Jack Flash introduced a curated fashion experience to the market. Heavily influenced by these brash rule-breakers, Cosmo then shifted his own path. He began dreaming of his own abstract retail gallery-- driven by the deliberate excitement of a “Studio 54” fashion show where customers would star as the “supermodels”. At the heart of his experience-shopping concept was his innate skill for delivering individually-optimized style, in an instant.

When he brought the party to Los Angeles, Cosmo was instrumental in defining Hollywood’s Melrose shopping district as a high-fashion incubator. His retail stores fostered the raw talents of the independent designers he gave “first shots” to. This love for experimental and evolutionary fashion eventually made his retail stores the LA destinations for Burning Man fashionistas, a hub for fellow editorial fashion stylists, and where awards season was shaped by Cosmo, one look at a time. From the WBA Heavyweight Champion of The World, Deontay Wilder; recording artists including Beyonce, Niki Minaj, and Gwen Stefani; to the Oscar-winning actress the CD “Nicole” dress was designed for-- Cosmo’s silliness belies an analytical genius that, in a split-second, can redefine individual presence and change everything.



Donato Crowley’s fashion career spans both sides of the camera. His professional pursuits fostered a keen eye for editorial drama and couture aesthetics. An extensive collection of camera-ready headwear and accessories- complete with hand-placed Swarovski crystals- infused thoughtful opulence into the editorials of Nicola Formichetti and Steven Klein. Donato’s “wearable art” has been featured in Vogue L’uomo and Numero magazines; and been worn by Niki Minaj, Madonna, Machine Gun Kelly and Justin Bieber. Baseball’s Giancarlo Stanton and boxing champ Deontay Wilder are collectors of his statement-pieces. Prior to joining into company-partnership with Cosmo in 2018, Donato’s Kali4Kouture collection had been a flagship label featured in Cosmo’s stores for nearly two decades.

Mr. Crowley, an equal partner, is also the organization’s Creative Director. In his role, he has authority over all special design projects; leads the company’s online sales and marketing initiatives; and manages the private manufacturing and theatrical costume divisions. Under his tenure, the company launched its eponymous knitwear collection, expanded retail offerings, cultivated a boutique private-label clientele; leveraging a global footprint for the Cosmo and Donato lifestyle brand.
